WebJul 24, 2008 · I'd suggest that at least part of the problem is at the "pick up" as the sand from either end has to "turn the corner" in the "T" at high speed. Further if either end comes out of the sand and sucks air you will lose vacuum - and sand. Why not just remove the "T" and have a straight "lance".
