WebCyfluthrin is moderately toxic to mammals with an oral LD50 of 850–1200 mg kg −1 in rats. Large doses of cyfluthrin cause excess salivation, irritability, tremors, incoordination, convulsions, and a fall in blood pressure. The acute toxicity of cyfluthrin increases at lower temperatures, and it is also acutely toxic when inhaled. WebCyfluthrin’s solubility in water is determined to be 2ppb (20°C). It has a bioaccumulation factor in fish of 858x. Residues are depurated radidly in untreated water. Accumulated residues are found in non—edible tissue. Cyfluthrin and its degradates do not leach into the soil. There are no concerns at this time in regard to ground water.
